CirrusRO — Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026. By creating an account or playing on CirrusRO, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not register or play.

1. Your account

• You are responsible for all activity on your account. Keep your password private — staff will never ask for it.
• Provide a valid e-mail address at registration so you can recover your account.
• Account sharing is at your own risk; we are not responsible for items lost through shared or compromised accounts.

2. Fair play & conduct

• Be respectful. Harassment, hate speech, threats, scamming, and impersonating staff or other players are not allowed.
• Follow the instructions of the Game Masters (GMs), who may act on rule-breaking at their discretion.
• Prohibited: third-party automation/botting, no-delay or speed hacks, packet or memory editing, and abusing bugs or exploits. These lead to suspension or a permanent ban.
• For what is allowed (for example autopot and in-client macros) and other specifics, see the in-game and Discord rules, which form part of these Terms.

3. Donations & shop points

• Donations are voluntary and help cover server costs. They are not a purchase of goods or services.
• Shop points granted for a donation have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged back for money, and are non-refundable.
• Donations are handled only by [GM] Cirrus through our official Discord. Beware of impersonators — anyone else asking for a donation is a scammer.
• Real-money trading — buying or selling in-game items, zeny, characters, or accounts for real money — is strictly prohibited.

4. Virtual items

• Characters, items, currency, and shop points are part of the game service and remain ours; you receive a limited, non-transferable license to use them while you play.
• We may adjust, reset, or remove in-game content for balance, maintenance, or rule enforcement. We aim to avoid full wipes but cannot guarantee against data loss, rollbacks, or downtime.

5. Privacy

• We collect the information needed to operate and protect the server (such as your username, e-mail, and IP address). We do not sell your personal data.

6. Suspension & termination

• We may suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or the in-game rules, at our discretion and without refund of any donation.

7. Disclaimer

• The service is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the server, including data loss or downtime.
• CirrusRO is a non-commercial, fan-operated private server. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Gravity Co., Ltd. Ragnarok Online and related marks are trademarks of their respective owners.

8. Changes

• We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued play after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
